How to Say 'Mengapa' in Casual Indonesian - Just Say 'Kenapa'

Your textbook taught you mengapa. It's correct. It's also something almost nobody says out loud.

In real conversation, the word is kenapa. Same meaning. Shorter. Warmer. Used in roughly 99% of daily speech.
